Taylor Rental of Tampa Bay increased email signups by 70.26% in one year.
Clay Crowell of Taylor Rental of Tampa Bay has worked with New Media Retailer on email marketing campaigns and increasing their overall email list size since August 2017. In that time, their email list has grown 70.26%.
According to Clay, growing their list size has been both an in-store and online effort. “Whenever we get a new lead from the Request Availability forms on our site, I log it and our specialist manually uploads them to our MailChimp account once a month.” This process has attributed to 50% of their increased list growth over the past year. The benefit of adding new leads to our email list gives TR Tampa Bay the opportunity to stay in front of customers with specials, events and new product information which will hopefully turn them into a repeat customer.
The other 50% of their increased growth has come from sign up forms on the website, one spot in particular is an email pop-up with an incentive to save by signing up for their email list. “Many people automatically click out of pop-ups, but when their is an incentive attached they take a minute to understand the discount before simply clicking out.” When a customer signs up for the email list through the pop-up, a 10% off their next rental purchase is emailed to the customer to redeem in store. “It’s nice sitting back and watching our list grow with little time or effort spent on our part, these people are all just visiting the website and choosing to hear from us on a regular basis.”
TR Tampa Bay sends two eblasts per month with New Media Retailer. “The benefit of having our list grow is we are increasing our customer base that we can communicate with, with not a lot of effort on our end. We can continue to connect with customers, put promotions and new products in front of them and increase our brand awareness all at once.”
Having an increased list size has also helped TR Tampa Bay increase their leads driven from the website as well. “When we email new products or seasonal products, we see customers clicking on them to learn more on our website.” TR Tampa Bay gets on average 150 Request Availability submissions on their website per month. “Using email marketing has helped us to stay in front of our customers on a regular basis, improve communication and increase sales.”
